The BID represents the interests of the Truro business community and works with partners including Cornwall Council and Truro City Council on various matters ranging from parking to the Hall for Cornwall regeneration project.
We work very closely with Visit Truro to promote Truro to locals, residents and holidaymakers. We contribute financially to printed marketing activity, including the Truro Guide, to promote the city and Visit Truro’s website www.visittruro.org.uk where hospitality and retail businesses have a free listing.
We also work with Truro Chamber of commerce to orchestrate a stronger voice for Truro.
At the end of 2018, Truro City Council produced an Arts and Culture Policy for Truro title 'A Cultural Cream Tea' about how we can keep Truro a vibrant city and help maintain footfall by developing our culture and heritage. From this, Truro developed it's Cultural Compact called Tyller A Nerth which Truro BID is part of.
