Truro Trend - Originally Planned for May 2022 Postponed
Truro Trend aims to promote and celebrate the city’s great range of independent and high street brands, along with hair and beauty businesses, via the high-profile ‘Catwalk at the Cathedral’.
Unfortunately we had to make the decision to postpone the event as we didn’t had enough businesses across fashion, hair and beauty to commit to taking part. We were concerned that a smaller scale Truro Trend would be disappointing for the audience.
We understand that resourcing and trading is difficult at the moment and thank all the businesses that showed an interest in the Catwalk at the Cathedral. We hope to work with Truro's businesses in future on Truro Trend to deliver the usual high standard event to celebrate fashion, hair and beauty in the city.

For it's fourth event in 2018, the Catwalk at the Cathedral was a sell-out with close to 600 people attending or taking part. Truro Cathedral took on a unique purpose for the night with a catwalk stretching the length of the nave transforming it into a scene more usually found in London.
The fashion show featured clothes and accessories from 15 different independent, regional and national retailers. This included Accessorize, Cliffside Clothing, Enjoy Clothing,Mistral, Monsoon, Moss, New Look, No22, Primark, Little Boutique and Ula plus pre-loved clothing from Cancer Research and Smart Exchanges.
Over 13 local hair and beauty businesses contributed by giving up their time to style the models hair and make-up. Models on the catwalk were a mixture of friends, family and colleagues as well from Cornwall Models and Promotions and Impact Model Agency.
BBC Spotlight did some filming so see how our great little fashion city made TV on the night too!
