Cheaper Parking within Truro City Centre
Truro High Cross Car Park now operated by Q-Park - updated 30 July 2026
- National Car Parks Limited (in administration) will cease operating Truro Highcross Car Park with effect from this Friday 31 July. The car park is now operated by Q-Park. Transitioning the car park tariffs from NCP to Q-Park will be completed by Thursday 13 August.
- The NCP Colleague Saver ID Code, which enables colleagues to receive up to 24 hours’ parking for £4.95 Monday to Saturday using the Saver ID code in the NCP ParkPass App will expire this Friday 31 July.
- If you are a colleague working in Truro City Centre, we’ve been informed that there is a discount code to pre-book parking through the Q-Park website from Friday, 31st July onwards: https://www.q-park.co.uk/en-gb.
- This code will provide parkers with a 58.75% discount on their pre-booked parking. Based on the current tariff, this reduces the rate to £4.95 per 24 hours. Email us at: lindsey.craik@trurobid.co.uk for the code.
- Currently, to use the promocode parkers will need to pre-book via the q-park website for each parking session (and not via an app).

enter the Saver ID code into the NCP

Once you have the app, email Truro BID by contacting lindsey.craik@trurobid.co.uk to ask for the Saver ID Code stating where are you working in Truro City Centre.
Update May 2026 - the previous Saver ID Code has expired, as the NCP had an unexpected issue. Please contact us on the email address above or call the office (01872 273999) for the new code.
The NCP have other car parking options including:
- Quarterly parking (3 calendar months) for £275 and Annual parking (12 months) for £995 where customers can registered two different vehicles.
- Hybrid options suitng part time workers e.g., monthly ticket for £65 (13 x day parking sessions), a quarterly ticket for £165 (40 x day parking sessions) and an annual pass for £595 (156 x day parking sessions).

Council long-stay car parks, useful for both commuters and regular Truro
visitors.

Truro Park and Ride
Truro Park and Ride is an affordable daytime option, with parking onsite at Langarth Park and Tregurra Park from 6.30am to 8.30pm, Monday to Saturday.
- It’s not exclusive for those working in the city.
- Multi-Day Tickets cost from £1.86 per day, based on a 60-day ticket that does not need to be used on consecutive days.
- Passengers can board the bus at any of the Park and Ride stops along the route. Park and Ride tickets can be bought from the driver or via the Transport for Cornwall App. For details see the Park and Ride webpage.
