Outdoor Markets 2024 - The BIG Truro Market

We'll be continuing to support a regular outdoor market on Lemon Quay during 2024 by lending out our colourful gazebos to Cornwall Shop Small.

The BIG Truro Market, hosted by Truro Farmers Market and Cornwall Shop Small, will be on the last Saturday of the month from March to October. This Cornwall Shop Small event hosted alongside Truro Farmers Market, consists of locally created and curated wares from independent traders, with Truro Farmers Market produce stalls.

The objective of markets is to generate new and additional customer footfall into the city that will potentially benefit many other businesses, including hospitality.

To help bring outdoor markets to the city, we were awarded Accelerated Capital Funding from the Truro Towns Fund to purchase market equipment. For three years we supported the Truro Antiques and Collectables Market by lending out our gazebos, part funding and delivering marketing activity.

Hosted by Cornwall Shop Small, the Cornwall Shop Small Market is on Truro's Lemon Quay every month alongside Truro Farmers Market from March to November along with seasonal specials. The Truro Antiques and Collectables Market

Running between May and September twice each month on the second Saturday and fourth Wednesday the Truro Antiques and Collectables Market features lots of quirky items. This includes Antiques, Art, Automobilia, Brass, Ceramics, Copper, Cornish Books, Glass, Jewellery, Militaria, Postcards, Silver and Gold, Small Furniture, Toys & more.
